Hi all,
Mine is a different situation, i was with my employer till mid of last year and did not inform him while leaving his company and joined another job (h1 transfer) he is now saying that the vendor did not pay him some money and i have to pay that amount and he is demanding that amount for my W-2.
He also said that he would take legal action if i didnot pay his losses ( i did not sign any document with him other than my h1b papers) no agreements,
I am going to call IRS after feb15, but is he going to go to court?
Please suggest me.

I thought there was a bill along these lines last year, do not remember the name or number of the bill though. I would very much welcome such a bill though.

Finally after repeated expedite requests, SR, etc, I just received a call from my local congressman that NSC mentioned to them that AP renewal has been approved. I just saw a LUD update yesterday and today in my and my spouse's AP online case status. Its still sitting in initial review only. Hopefully it will show me approved in a day or two. Local congressman told that they will keep my case open until I call back and let them know its approved. Hoping to see an approval soon, will keep you all updated.

Anybody Travelled with only Advance Payrole through Frankfurt recently please post ?
where they will check for transit visa in usa while boarding or in frankfurt or in india while return ?
My nationality is Indian. Presently i am residing in USA . I have " Advance Payrole Document " . I am planning to travel in this February 2011 from " Atlanta -> Frankfurt -> India(Hyderabad) " and return is in May 2011 from " India(Hyderabad) -> Frankfurt -> Atlanta " in lufthansa airways.
So shall i go for this round trip with a valid " Advance Payrole Document " only ? or i need to have " Air Transit Visa ? If i need Air transit Visa could you please let me know how to apply and what documents i need to submit .

I think USCIS or DOL is the one which approves cases based on LS. They have a big database of people who used that....
How many of the ppl who r disgusted by LS have contributed anything to IV or its cause, but are very happy to file their 485. Dude, nobody is a Mahatma Gandhi here....

IV is in no way in the business of contributing to any election campaign. Lobbying is just another word to represent put your issues in front of lawmakers. I think EADs are sent to the applicant and AP to the attorney...had the same in my case...plus seen lots of folks here say the same thing...
Arent you concerned that if its approved on Oct 1, and you didnt get it, then where is it? Did you ask them as to why you havent gotten it in mail even though it has been approved a month ago? Also, did you check with your lawyer if he got anything?

If the sale takes place, it probably will be bought by either a Chinese or Indian company. Some dumb anti-immigrationists will try to block legal migration every possible way when most of their companies are either taking jobs overseas or getting sold to foreign companies. I think soon every IV member will have enough hands-on experience to practise immigration law in U.S. The analysis and research skills make all of us great candiates for practicing law after getting the green card... Obviusly without a law degree, you cannot practise law but it could be an option guys :-)

Guys, this article is 100% correct. There are about 1 million people stuck at various stages of the green card process, H-4 dependents cannot work, and H-1Bs cannot get salary raises. Don't detract from such a good and accurate article.

I guess MOST of the people are concerned about the quality of photos than $ spent. My friend had RFE because the photos he got from CVS were not upto USCIS specifications. So any + experience is valuable to the forum.
